Sage Bass Series Fly Rods - Largemouth, Smallmouth, Bluegill
From a fly fishing perspective, when you go for bass,
you need a fly rod that has what it takes to place a hair
frog or an air-light diver with pinpoint accuracy without
a trace of ripple on the water. The new Sage Bass Fly
Rods have the ability to effortlessly push big, wind-resistant
bugs into tight quarters. These two rods are the result
of Sage rod designers working closely with serious bass
anglers.
Available in two models, Smallmouth and Largemouth, both
rods measure 7'11", which slides them just under
the strict bass tournament rules for rod length. Additionally,
both rods include (sold with) a radical, ultra-short,
custom bass taper flyline and a cool travel case for rod/reel
protection.
But don't think these are "single-purpose"
rods. We also highly recommend these rods for throwing
huge flies for pike or muskie - or for in-shore saltwater
applications.
